June 4 - Up the Creek
Walk along the creek with guides to discover the components of a healthy mountain stream - and why it's important to water users downstream. Includes a Riparian workshop – water testing kit care of Alberta Water Quality Awareness, an interpretive hike and tour to see who else uses our creeks. Package will offer 2 meals and campfire visiting. $85/person

Edible and Medicinal Plant Workshop – interpretive hike to discover what native plants were traditionally used for and their benefits. A fresh lunch will be provided for outdoor dining and after our evening meal, we'll finish the day around the fire. $135/person

June 11 - Wildflowers for your Yard
Would you like to incorporate some wildflowers into your domestic garden? We'll tour the garden at Chimney Rock B&B where Deb will help point out her best and worst picks. The guided hike will show you where they grow naturally. Lunch will be in a sea of grasses and flowers and there will be time to review the day around the fire after supper. $160/person

June 12 - Wild Tea Party
Learn more about our native plants and their benefits. This guided hike will take you through the rangeland of the sacred Porcupine Hills where plants were traditionally gathered for their medicinal values. After lunch, travel to Nanton's Herbal Healing for an apothecary talk to discuss how these herbs are still used today. $146/person

Bar U Ranch National Historic Site - Chuckwagon Cook-Off
Round-up Camp cooks were men of ingenuity, adaptability and perserverance. Join us for the Bar U Cook-Off and sample the competitors' beef stew and biscuits, cooked over an open camp fire - just like they did 100 years ago!

The second annual Percheron Halter Class show, a tribute to the great Bar U Percheron show horses as well as to the man who made it all possible: George Lane.
