September 11 - The Fall Landscape
As the landscape enters its season of rest, watch for wildlife migrations while birds prepare for their trips south all framed by changing colours of our trees and bushes. Guided hike into the wildness to witness these changes and tour some of the ranch. Bag lunch and dinner meals included. Bring your camera! $145/person

Bar U Ranch National Historic Site - Chore Horse Competition
A glimpse back in time to when horsepower was used for everything, from delivering milk and hauling fire wagons to constructing roads. Watch as today's teamsters guide their heavy horse teams through a timed course of skill-testing manoeuvres.
All special events at the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site begin at 1pm and are subject to cancellation or rescheduling depending on weather conditions. For more events information call 403-395-3044.
